<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.<br></li> <li>Experience in mechanical infrastructure.</li> </ul><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant fields, or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.</li> <li>Experience in estimating, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.<br></li> <li>Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of mechanical cooling plants, fire suppression systems, fuel oil systems, domestic water systems, and sanitary sewer systems.</li> <li>Experience in designing complex modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.<br></li> <li>Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes.</li> <li>Operational knowledge of construction safety procedures.<br></li> </ul><h3>About the job</h3><p>Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.<br><br>With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Define data center system-level, product architecture, and research and development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.<br></li> <li>Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.<br></li> <li>Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).<br></li> <li>Provide technical leadership to the projects, support and optimize project design, scope, schedule, quality, commissioning, and safety for the Mechanical discipline, and provide feedback to the central partner teams on possible improvements.</li> <li>Provide mechanical technical leadership, resolving critical field issues.</li> </ul>
