<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.</li> <li>Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of utility electrical distribution systems in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.</li> <li>Experience in electrical infrastructure.</li> </ul><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.</li> <li>Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, Alternative Transients Program (ATP)/Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), emergency power systems and their control systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection.</li> <li>Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) tools.</li> <li>Experience working with data center equipment and environments (e.g., switchgear, generators, transformers, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems), with a strong understanding of start up/commissioning processes.</li> <li>Experience with cross-discipline teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural).</li> <li>Experience with medium voltage systems.</li> </ul><h3>About the job</h3><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.</li> <li>Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.</li> <li>Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).</li> <li>Collaborate with Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) core teams to develop, implement, and manage the data center (DC) electrical designs at site starting from basis of design (BOD) to issued for construction (IFC) data center services documents for new DC projects build outs, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations.</li> <li>Oversee all site-level electrical system issues throughout the project execution phase, diagnose and resolve issues with cross-functional teams, uphold DC related electrical system design requirements and interface documents, and comply with the change control process.</li> </ul>
